IMG-20181208-WA0002At about this time yearly, Hauk Foundation in collaboration with Hauk Explorers Schools and other lovable persons contribute to share love and spread laughter in Salawe community.
Let me tell you a bit about this community.
It is located in Ikosi- Ketu area of Lagos. Nigeria.
The population is over 5000 with most persons being women and dependants.
People here have little or no means of income and live below N300 (less than $1 per day).
The housing structure is basically of wood or nylon patches.
Its a slum with lots of mosquitoes and refuse but yet, these inhabitants thrive to survive.
This year, more than feeding them and throwing a party with lots of gifts, we will be offering 2 lucky children fully funded scholarships up to the end of Primary education.
We believe in the power of leveraging upon education to bring the best out of a person.
We will raise these children in 100% accordance with international standards and see to it that they imbibe the culture of sowing back into their place of origin.
We seek for like minded people to join us in this cause by simply donating a minimum of N1000 in support of this mission.
We look forward to your calls and messages!
Felis Navidad!!
