INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY
- On March 8th2016, the International Day for Women was celebrated worldwide with the focus being; GENDER PARITY (#Planet 50-50 by 2030: Step it Up for Gender Equality). Hauk Foundation partnered with The WEST AFRICAN WOMEN ASSOCIATION (Nigeria chapter) to celebrate women in their uniqueness, totality and contribution to women and individual communities in Nigeria by honouring various women leaders in a conference and award ceremony held at the Presidential hall of the ECOWAS commission in Abuja. Our theme was “Gender Parity in African Context”.
